Let me use my travel experience, passion for travel, attention to detail, and destination knowledge to assist you with your next trip!

I have always had an intense passion for travel since childhood. My father and grandfather always used to say “Travel is Education” and this mantra has inspired me my entire life! Growing up in Africa, I did many safaris in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana and have an intense love of the African Bush!

My first big trip overseas was to Greece and Italy when I was 13 years old, and this proved to be a defining moment. After getting my degree in History of Art and Classical Civilization, I completed a year travel course and started my career working for Sabena Belgian Airlines, and thereafter Thompson Tours – the largest tour operator in South Africa. While working for Thompson Tours, I was a reservations agent but also tour leader showing agents the properties Thompson Tours partnered with.

My early years in the travel industry solidified my passion for travel and resulted in travelling to many destinations including Mozambique, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Mauritius, Tanzania, Kenya, Bangkok, 11 Caribbean Islands, Puerto Rico, Miami and New York!

Although my move to the USA resulted in a detour from the travel industry for a period, my office management and accounting jobs for start up companies gave me the tools along with my travel experience to start my own company. While working in administrative, marketing, and accounting roles, I was always planning a trip somewhere! Destinations during this period included Paris, London, Northern UK and Hadrian’s Wall, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Zimbabwe, Croatia, Alaska, Belize, Mexico, Boston and Maine, San Francisco, Sausalito, Monterey & Carmel, Las Vegas & the Grand Canyon, Florida (extensively), and Exuma, Bahamas.

Recently inspired by my deceased brother’s last words to me: “Live the life you are supposed to live and be true to yourself”, I decided to return to the travel industry, start my own business, and share my passion with others. I love planning itineraries, sharing my destination knowledge, and researching new ones. I am a full service accredited Travel Advisor with an IATA number and access to all resources required to assist in creating memorable travel experiences suited to your tastes and needs!
